As you may be aware, ElectraNet’s the Northern Transmission Project (NTx) is undertaking investigations for a major upgrade to South Australia’s high-voltage electricity transmission network.
Two new transmission lines are being considered to support the State’s future energy needs, one from Greater Adelaide to Mid North (Bundey substation, near Robertstown) and another from Mid North to Whyalla. At this early stage, a location (route) for the new transmission lines has not yet been determined.

As part of the Northern Transmission Project (NTx), ElectraNet has identified a preferred corridor that may be suitable to host a transmission line but further investigation is needed.
Your property sits within one of these corridors, which is why we’re reaching out.
It does not mean a decision has been made to build a transmission line on your land. It means we’d like to meet with you to better understand how you use your land and discuss how the project might progress.

Yes. Landholders are compensated if an easement is required on their land. We’ll explain how this works well before any decisions are made.
