A new corridor is being investigated to the east of the original Mid North options, following consistent feedback from communities — particularly landholders and farming groups — to explore areas further east of Goyder’s Line.

Early investigations began in late 2025, including technical studies, constraint mapping and engagement with landholders, alongside previous community feedback.

We are now commencing a new round of engagement to better understand local perspectives, land use and priorities in this area.
