Our project map has been updated to show a range of newly identified ‘corridors’, with a fact sheet explaining how these areas were selected and what happens next in the route development process.

As part of the route development process, large sections of the original Study Area have been excluded from further investigation. The remaining areas, known as corridors, will now be investigated in more detail.

These corridors were shaped by more than 30 technical, environmental, economic and social factors, including cultural heritage, land use sensitivity, flood zones, aviation paths and local insights provided by stakeholders and communities.
